This policy explains what happens to the information you share with FuturesBeginToday.com. We have written it in plain language on purpose, because a privacy policy nobody can read is not much of a promise.
The short version: we collect what you type into our request form so we can contact you about a store tour. We do not sell your information, we do not trade it, and we do not hand your name to advertisers. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.
This site is operated by an independent Melaleuca Marketing Executive. It is not operated by Melaleuca, Inc. Using this site means you accept the practices described below.
When you fill in the request form on this site, we collect the information you enter:
Your first name and email address are required. Everything else is optional, and leaving it blank does not stop us from helping you.
Like nearly every website, our servers record basic technical information when you visit:
We use this to understand which parts of the site are useful and to keep the site running properly. We do not use it to build an advertising profile about you.
We never ask for and never want your Social Security number, your bank account details, or your credit card information on this site. If a page claiming to be us ever asks for those, it is not us.
We use the information you give us to do the thing you asked us to do, and not much else. Specifically:
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not perform profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
When you submit the request form, you are asking us to get in touch, so we will. Here is exactly what that means.
We may email you about your store tour and send follow-up information related to your request. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing takes effect promptly and we do not need a reason.
If you give us a phone number, you agree that we may call or text you at that number about your request, including through an automated system. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing anything.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Reply HELP for help. You can ask us to stop calling by telling us so on any call, or by contacting us using the details in section 13.
We are not going to bury you. If you tell us you are not interested, we stop. That is the whole rule.

We keep the information from your request form for as long as we are in contact with you, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us later. If you ask us to delete your information, we delete it, except for anything we are required to keep for legal, tax or recordkeeping reasons.
We also keep a minimal record of unsubscribe and do-not-contact requests. That is the only way to make sure we honor them.

Use the contact details in section 13. We will respond within the time the law allows, and we will never charge you or make you jump through hoops for asking. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the rights listed in section 8, plus the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 years of age.
The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address) and internet activity information (pages viewed on this site). We collect them for the business purposes described in section 2.
This site is meant for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you give us, and we limit access to the people who need it to help you.
No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. What we can promise is that we do not collect information we do not need, which is the most effective protection there is.
If we change this policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to tell people who have given us their email address. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
